Attention all Philadelphia film and music producers, concert promoters and artists
Philadelphia Metropolitan area. Whether it is concert promotions; film, television, stage, radio or
music production, BACKLINE's mission is to report on current trends and issues that affect the
"behind the scene" industry professionals in our region.
While BACKLINE will report on national and international entertainment news and trends, we have
made a commitment to be a platform for all local entertainment professionals no matter what their
genre; and promote our city and region as a viable area for industry-related projects.
We are accepting press releases from all entertainment industry related businesses, organizations
and individuals to report in our daily blog, website and print publication.
We are also looking for freelance writers to report on national and local entertainment news,
particularly as it relates to the business of the “biz”;
Requirements for the Freelance Writers
Experience writing for a publication (magazine, newspaper, etc. (Preferred but not necessary)
-the ability to submit articles by deadline
-high quality writing skills
-the ability to enlighten and/or inspire our reader

consideration. We are looking for writers/photographers to begin IMMEDIATELY as we plan to
publish our first issue September of 2009!
